This concert features 8 talented young traditional musicians who have appeared in the annual BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year Award, along with the winner of the previous year, including Hannah Macrae from Fort William!

The line up for this Tour is: Mohsen Amini: Concertina (2016 winner) – Glasgow

Claire Hastings: Song (2015 winner) – Dumfries

Hannah Macrae: Fiddle - Fort William

Robbie Greig: Fiddle – Edinburgh

Jessica Burton: Clarsach – Orkney

Murray Willis: Accordion – Lismore

Ryan Young: Fiddle – Cardross

with accompanist Jean Damei

The Tour takes the young musicians back to their home towns as well as other parts of Scotland so they can inspire others and thank their communities for the support they have had over the years.

Expect some brand new material written and composed by the young musicians, as well as some innovative arrangements of traditional tunes, all of which feature on their new album - which will be available to purchase at the concert or available through the TMSA shop at www.tmsa.org.uk or through Amazon, or download a copy through iTunes from around the middle of July.

Tickets: Adults £10, Concession £8 available from The Nevis Centre reception or by phone on 01397 700707
