Activity Camps

What are they? - Our Children’s Activity Camps are multi-discipline sessions for Children aged from 4 to 12 years. They are run by experienced coaches who will offer a range of activities for all abilities in things like sports, creative arts, drama & music, arts & crafts and fitness. Alongside this, the children will also be able to take part in soft play, bowling, outdoor play, fun games and more.

When are they on? - We run Camps during all School Closures other than the Christmas Holidays. This includes main and bank holidays, in-service days and other breaks such as strike days.  Our next Holiday Camps take place on Thursday 2nd and Monday 6th May.

At what times do they take place? - We have a range of options for our Camps, with full days running from 9.30am to 4.30pm, and half days, from 9.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Alongside this, we also offer early drop-off and late pick-up, with early drop off starting at 8.45am in the morning and 12.45pm in the afternoon. Our late pick-up goes to 1.15pm for the morning session and 5.15pm for the afternoon and full day options.

How much do they cost? - Our prices start from £25.00 for a full day, and £12.00 for a half day session. We also have a multiple booking discount if you wish to add siblings or friends. Camp Days can be booked on an individual basis based on requirements, but we do also offer full week bookings during the Main Holidays at Easter, Summer and October. If you are doing this, you only need to select this option on the menu page and pick the Monday at the start of the week you want. This will automatically book you in for that full week.

How do you book? - Booking can be done by clicking on the green link button on this page. This will take you to a calendar where you can select your options based on your requirements.

What do the children need to bring with them? - Children attending for a full day should bring a packed lunch with them, while those on a half day should bring a drink and snack. We also have a tuck shop available and children are welcome to purchase items from the cafe too.

What should the children wear? - Children should wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for running around in.  They should also bring a jacket for some of the outdoor activities.  We always advise the children to wear layers so that they adjust to the environment they are in.

What if you have any questions? - The staff are happy to answer any questions you may have or provide any feedback regarding any aspect of the Camps. They are more than happy to speak to you in person at the Centre or can reply via e-mails to info@neviscentre.co.uk.

Anything else? - Our Camps are aimed at being accessible, sociable and inclusive. We hope that the range of activities on offer will allow us to keep everyone involved and we focus greatly on building confidence, friendships and enjoyment. We aim to adapt our sessions to suit the age and ability of the children taking part and put an emphasis on making things fun for everyone.
