Join the Dungeons & Dragons Youth Club at the Nevis Centre, a creative and friendly space for young people in S1–S6 to explore storytelling, teamwork, and imagination through tabletop role-playing. Sessions take place every Thursday from 6–8 PM and cost £6 per session. Whether you’re completely new to D&D or already familiar with the game, you’ll be supported to create characters, embark on exciting quests, and have fun with other players in a relaxed, inclusive environment. Beginners are very welcome, and all materials will be provided. Spaces are limited, so booking is essential!

Dungeons & Dragons (also known as D&D) is a tabletop fantasy role-playing game where players create characters and go on imaginative adventures together. One person (the Dungeon Master) guides the story, describes the world, and helps bring the game to life, while players make choices, solve problems, and roll dice to see what happens next. It’s all about creativity, teamwork, and storytelling.

No! Beginners are very welcome. Our Dungeon Master Kathleen is also new to D&D, and she’ll be on hand to explain the rules in a simple way, help you create a character, and support you as you learn. Many players can join and have fun with no experience at all. It’s also important to remember that there is no ‘right’ way to play D&D, and it’s all about having some fun!

Other than yourself, we recommend bringing a notepad that you can take between home and sessions (for notes, ideas, or your character details). Everything else (dice, character sheets, pencils) will be provided, and there will be a tuck shop available for snacks and refreshments.
If you have your own dice, pre-made characters, or anything else that you wish to bring with you then you are welcome to do so.
